Farpoint Erin RID (imp UK)
Registered Irish Draught (purebred)

Erin was bred in West Yorkshire, UK and the stud imported her into Australia in 2012 in foal to Bealagh Blue RID (UK dec.). Erin is a correct true to type Irish Draught, of course good bone, movement and a great temperament.  She has been shown lightly in the UK, and we plan to show her in Australia, led and under saddle.

Erin's sire, Hillviewfarm Milligan RID stands at Coosheen Stud, Lancashire, UK. He is a 'truly outstanding example of the Irish Draught, he has the rare combination of bone, substance and exceptional straight movement.  He carries both traditional lines through his dam and performance lines through his sire.' Erin's bloodlines include Attwood Black Laughton RID, Legaun Prince RID, Rakish Paddy RID, Grey Macha RID, Ballinrobe Boy RID and Enniskeane Prince RID, combining traditional with performance, all well known and performed Irish Draughts.

The sire of Erin's in utero foal, Bealagh Blue is the sire of two RID approved stallions, Ballineen It's William RID now in Ireland, and Ballineen Blue Mountain RID, now in New Zealand.

In June 2013 Erin had her first foal at Icarus Park Stud, a bay purebred filly, called Enid.  We look forward to Erin and Enid as foundation stock for our stud.

Appledark Fingers Crossed RID (imp UK)
Registered Irish Draught (purebred)

'Phoebe' is one of our imported mares, she was bred by Appledark Stud in Yorkshire, UK.  We imported her to Australia in 2008, in foal to Ballyknowe Prince RID (deceased), who stood in Scotland.  Her pedigree does not include King of Diamonds or Clover Hill.  She is a traditional type of Irish Draught with good bone, short cannons, quiet temperament and stands 16.1hh.  She is pictured right with her 2009 purebred filly, 'Lily,' her first purebred filly to be born in Australia by Baltydaniel Breeze RID.
Phoebe passed her RID inpsection in the UK and in Australia.

Her first foal, Icarus Silver Lily began her eventing career in 2014 and is currently competing at EA level.  Phoebe is pictured right with 'Lily.'

Sire - Darcy Dancer RID (UK)
Dam - Appledark Thumbs Up (UK)

Eireann Grania RID (imp NZ)
Registered Irish Draught (purebred)

Grania is the first mare we imported to Australia. She came from New Zealand in 2001, and was bred by Thady Ryan.  She has been a tremendous foundation mare for us with a fabulous temperament.  She has always been an easy breeder and has conceived to chilled and frozen semen.  She has produced 6 purebred Irish Draught foals.
Pictured right with her 2009 purebred filly, 'Neave' sired by Baltydaniel Breeze RID.

Icarus Cordelia
Irish Sport Horse SID, 3/4 Irish Draught
Studbook approved Irish Draught mare

'Cracker' became known as such as this was her nickname as a foal, as she was such a 'cracker' of a foal, and it has stuck.  This exceptional mare has proven herself repeatedly.  As a 2yo she won the Supreme Led Championship at the IDSHS(Aus) National Show and Inspection Day, held in Victoria.  She also won the Supreme Irish Draught/Sport Horse Exhibit (with a foal at foot) at the Royal Melbourne Summer Show 2012, with UK judge Mrs Enid Lord. (pictured right)  Two years previous to this in 2010, her foal at foot, Icarus Murphy won the Junior Champion Irish Draught/Sport Horse Exhibit at the Melbourne Summer Royal under judge Mr John Masterton.

TPH Diamonds Forever
Irish Sport Horse

Poppy is a young grey ISH mare with lovely movement, length of rein and super jump.  She inherits this jump from her sire, Celtic Blue Diamond, who only left a handful of stock in Australia before being exported to the USA to pursue his Grand Prix showjumping career with rider Harley Brown.
Poppy has had two foals, sired by Regardez Moi (imp) and Classic Vision RID.
She is a very exciting dam of performance sport horses for us.

Sire - Celtic Blue Diamond ISH

Memory lane, mares that have passed on

These are fabulous mares that have been a part of our family and breeding program for many years and have since passed away
or changed hands

Hararis

Rose was the dam of our homebred stallion, ‘Icarus Frosty.’

Rose was an Australian Studbook thoroughbred mare, and was a part
of the family since she was a 3 year old, reaching 24 years old. During her
performance career she competed under the name of Century Rose, primarily in eventing to 1.15m and was a very handy mount, showing immense jumping ability and speed.  Her thoroughbred breeding is sought after for performance horses, with her sire being Pride of Century and grandsire, Century.  She had 5 foals for us, with Icarus Frosty being the last, then she retired.

Diamond Maeve

Irish Sport Horse SID, 3/4 Irish Draught
Studbook approved Irish Draught mare

Diamond Maeve was a very typey Irish Draught mare, standing at 17hh.  Prior to
her broodmare career, she performed in EA level dressage, under the name of ‘The
Warrior Queen.’
She was bred by life members of the Irish Draught and Sport Horse Society in Australia, Ken and Dawn Simons. Her sire Kingsway Diamond RID was imported from Ireland and stood in New Zealand.  Her dam, Shaunlara Park Jocelyn ISH, was by Bantry Bay RID.  Bantry Bay was the first purebred Irish Draught to be imported into Australia in 1977.
Maeve had a lovely Irish disposition, lots of bone and was an influential broodmare for our stud.  She had 5 foals for us including 'Limerick Longsocks' pictured right,
(sire Baltydaniel Breeze RID) who was sold to Tasmania as an eventer.

Deegee's Folly
ASB Thoroughbred

Deegee was a thoroughbred mare bred at the Northern Lodge Stud, part of the NMIT University, at Eden Park.  Her temperament and disposition were amoung her best qualities aswell as her athleticism.  She dislocated her pastern in January 2013 and was put to sleep.  We will miss her dearly.

Sire - Super Fiesta (NZ)
Dam - Party Rose

Icarus Bebe
Irish Sport Horse SID, 1/2 Irish Draught
Studbook approved Irish Draught mare

Bebe is the first Irish mare bred at Icarus Park.  Her sire Coosheen Liam RID is known as a producer of movement, substance and temperament.  Her dam, 'Sally' was a big old fashioned type of thoroughbred that looked like an Irish Draught herself.
Bebe is the dam of Icarus Cordelia (below), her first foal, who won the Supreme Irish Draught/Sport Horse Exhibit (with a foal at foot) at the Royal Melbourne Summer Show 2012, with UK judge Mrs Enid Lord.

Sire - Coosheen Liam RID (imp UK, dec)
Dam - Wanton Court (ASB Thoroughbred, dec)

Hunziker
ASB Thoroughbred

Hunzy is a thoroughbred mare we originally purchased to test and prove our frozen semen from our stallion Baltydaniel Breeze RID.  Her first foal for us was with the use of this frozen semen and resulted in a filly, called Brontie. Her second foal also by Balty, was Paddy, both these offspring are shaping up to be fabulous ridden sport horses, suited to any discipline.

Eilish passed her IDSHS Studbook inspection in January 2013 with her purebred filly foal Freya at foot, sired by Baltydaniel Breeze RID.
