Icarus Park is located in central Victoria, 7km west the town of Lancefield, which lies within the Macedon Ranges. We are a short drive north of Melbourne, take the Tullamarine Freeway, pass the airport and continue on the Melbourne – Lancefield Road. The journey takes under one hour from Melbourne, and 35 minutes from Melbourne Airport.
The Macedon Ranges are known for their rolling picturesque landscapes, wineries, flora and fauna, and rural agricultural pursuits.
The Cobaw State Forest lies to the west and north of the property. To the southwest is Hanging Rock, about a 10 minute drive. To the east is the small township of Lancefield, boasting (to name only a few) galleries, antique centre and a fabulous scrumptious bakery.
We enjoy showing visitors our Irish Draughts. Inspection by appointment only please, ‘drop-ins’ will be made to clean out stables.
