The Irish Draught and Sport Horse Society invite you to join us on Saturday 12th November to view our Irish horses.

An opportunity to see Irish Draughts and Irish Sport Horses:

10.30am at Tullow Stud, 80 Foleys Road, Willowmavin via Kilmore

12.00 pm at Icarus Park Stud, 63 Whalans Track, Lancefield.

Learn about the breed and speak with breed society members at an informal day with the Irish Draught and Sport Horse Society.

Light refreshments are available, plus gate prizes.

The Irish Draught and Sport Horse Society AGM is at 2.30 pm at Lancefield Equestrian Group club grounds. All welcome!

First One Day Event of the season for Frosty at Woady Yallock, Smythesdale.

Frosty competed in the Introductory Section at the Woady Yallock Horse Trials over the Easter weekend. He performed well in the dressage and jumped both showjumping and cross country clear! He came 7th overall. Ready for the next level..!

Catherine Davies of Queens Park Equestrian, Romsey, VIC rode Frosty in the Dressage and Jumping with the Stars Stallion Showcase, a new event this year in the programme to show breeding stallions. Frosty and Catherine jumped a round of showjumps with style, a You tube video link is here>

Dr Miesja Reynolds has been nominated in 2 categories for the prestigious Macedon Ranges Business Excellence Awards! The categories are ‘Young Business Person of the Year,’ in which she was one of three finalists in 2009, and the ‘New Business Award.’
Judging of the Award will be in May, we wish her all the best for the Awards.

Baltydaniel Breeze and rider Miesja Reynolds win level 3 dressage test at Kyneton Riding Club Dressage Day.

Kilmore Show – Irish Sport Horse and Irish Draught classes

Baltydaniel Breeze starred at the Kilmore Show. He won Champion Senior Led and Champion Ridden. Balty won the Leisure Horse ridden class, and the Hunter / Eventer ridden class too.

Cathy McAdie took out Champion Junior Led with her 2yo Carson, sired by Icarus Frosty. Congratulations Cathy!

Icarus Ryan owned by Becky Lingard placed 3rd in the led 2yo & 3yo class, also sired by Icarus Frosty.
