Maeve is a 3/4 bred Irish Sport horse.  She’s a lovely big lass, with plenty of bone, and stands at 17hh.  Prior to her broodmare career, she performed in EFA level dressage, under the name of ‘The Warrior Queen.’

She was bred by life members of the Irish Draught and Sport Horse Society in Australia, Ken and Dawn Simons.  Her sire is Kingsway Diamond RID, (NZ) and her dam is Shaunlara Park Jocelyn ISH, by Bantry Bay RID.  Bantry Bay was the first purebred Irish Draught to be imported into Australia in 1977.
