BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO ANOTHER ICARUS PARK BRED IRISH SPORT HORSE

11-12 July

Icarus Conaire and owner Ann-Marie Boyd, had another great day out at the Laidley 2 day show in Queensland. They won their class and went on to win Champion Irish Horse at the recent Laidley Show, Qld, July 11-12 2009.

“Connor” is a rising three year old gelding, 3/4 Irish Draught. His sire is Branigan’s Pride RID (imp Ire, deceased) and his dam is Icarus Bebe, sire Coosheen Liam RID (imp UK, deceased). Bebe is in foal to Icarus Frosty this year, and is due to foal in September.
Ann-Marie has done very well with Connor so far. She has taken him to a shows and always comes home with ribbons. She jokes that Connor always beats her Irish mare “Gracie!”
Ann-Marie bought Connor from Icarus Park Stud when he was a foal.

When he was weaned he made the journey to Queensland on a truck. She has plans to ride him soon! Way to go!
